Finally I'm in Latvia since about four months and so many things did happen. More things than I could write about here and every day is bringing more...
What do I do?
I'm working in an (NG-)organisation caring for Experiential Education, called LPIC.
They take different groups of people into the forest or on the street and let them discover how to survive, to work with each other, to find certain things, ... . Based on the principle of "learning by doing".
My role is to join their projects and eventually develop an one one, too.
The concept is great (and actually familiar to me) and it is very interesting to learn directly more about non-formal methods in teaching - a deeper way of education, avoiding bored pupils in class rooms, unmotivated teachers and without-thinking transported stuff.
Nevertheless I am especially eager to work with environmental protection and so concentrate myself on my (...) project, working with the help of environmental education including experience.
It deals with water and some new discoveries about its changing structure (when it is confronted with material, e.g. rubbish, thoughts or emotions), based on the researches of Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist. As I finally found two other persons to work with me, I hope we can start and continue soon. : )
How I feel in general is hard to describe, because naturally it's changing quite often. There are several things I have to adapt myself to, by and by - the other country, culture and mentality, the language, the work, the new people and the lack of the "old" (...), the whole new situation of living (not at home anymore), ...
And then there is, of course, still myself, which I brought here and which has to develop inside, too...
A constant process and still changing every minute.
Now winter is coming and last weekend the first snow flakes fell down, right when we spent a work assignment in the middle of the forest... At night there were thousands of stars visible... and standing there, leaned on a trunk of an old oak, looking into the sky... It was a huge, indescribable feeling... So endless, but grounded, small, but connected, sad, but understood. ...
About art (or what you can maybe call like that) - I am still doing things with camera and pen(cil), but as I already never had enough time (or motivation...), I didn't put them here. Whatever...
I had the impression that it is necessary to update the journal at least and write some comments... : )
Wishing you a beautiful nightsky,
visu labu,
Maggie

Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living,
Friday's child fears no foe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
And Sundays child is bonny and wise in every way.

If something super-natural takes place, then it's rather very natural.
