Dear everyone, amid this pleasant temperatures of early summer, the chirping of the birds in my ear, and still with a gentle taste of ginger in my mouth, time has come to write another journal entry again. So much has changed since the last one! Even if it is not new that the world is still heating up by so many conflicts, grave developments and - not least - anthropogenic accelerated global warming, now the Corona crisis might lead to a fully different oriented future. Many people are deeply affected by the outcomings of the disease, of the measures against its spread and of the altered dealing between people. This is a special situation, but what comes after it? What will be the new normality? At the moment, I can only guess developments to come, torn between hope and concern. Hope for that the new attitudes of e.g. solidarity and administration for the common good will be of use in the futural society; concern that governments and corporations might misuse their powers e.g. to

Hey everyone, almost two years have passed by since the last time I wrote a journal entry. Many things happened during that time, many changes occured. Both in my everyday life and the world surrounding us, things feel more serious now to me. I see grief and fear at so many places on our planet, I see love and solidarity needed in so many cases. People coming to Germany carrying a lot of hope in their hearts, being stuck in a struggle of misunderstandings and prejudices as soon as they are here, too often. Dear everyone, it's been a while! :heart: Since I ended my studies at the university of applied sciences and arts and started at the 'real' university, I'm very busy all the time. However, in these wintry days, there is a small exhibition in my town where two of my watercolour paintings (I still didn't upload here) are included as well. It is the first time I come across such a possibility and it makes me feel a bit proud and wonderfully happy.
